COMMON QUESTIONS

You Asked, We Answered

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND & RETURN POLICY?

Once you receive your product, you have 7 days to return it if it does not meet your expectations or you are displeased with the fragrance. We only accept returns on unused items (wicks must not be burnt).  Refunds are credited back to the original account after we have received the returned product and verify its' condition. We are always pleased to give full refunds on returned products as long as they meet the requirements of the return policy! Unfortunately, the shipping costs are not refundable.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Ready-to-go items will ship within 2-4 business days from your order and you will also receive an email confirmation once it has shipped. Any out of stock items or custom candle orders will need up to 14 business days to ship. For any other concerns or requests you can contact Krista at: ortizbusinessk@gmail.com

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD KNOW BEFORE BURNING MY SOY CANDLE?

There are a couple things you should know! The first burn of your candle is the most important one! Soy wax creates an imprint after its’ first burn and will follow that for the rest of the candles life. Luckily, we have created our candles with a special soy wax top. Our goal with this design is to help the wax melt to the edges of the container. We think it’s really important that you get the maximum use out of your candle. This also will help the smell of your candle last a lot longer!
After using your candle for a while, you may notice flakes or little crystallizing pieces of wax on your candle. This is 100% normal, so don’t panic! The term we use for this is called ‘frosting’ and it is a unique trait of soy wax caused by its’ biological desire to return to its natural state. Other than affecting the look of the candle, frosting will not affect the burning or fragrance of your soy candle.

CAN I CLEAN OUT MY EMPTY CANDLE CONTAINER?

Yes! We highly recommend that you reuse the candle containers for two reasons. The first reason is that they are very pretty jars and the second reason is that we want to be as sustainable as possible to decrease our environmental footprint. So here we go:

  1. The first thing you should do is put your used candle container on a protected surface with a towel or newspaper.

  2. You will want to use a butter knife or spoon to remove as much wax as you can from the inside of the container.

  3. Pour hot water into the container, leaving room at the top (the water doesn’t have to be boiling because soy wax is a soft wax that is easier to remove).

  4. The hot water will melt the wax and it will float to the top. Let the water cool and remove the wax from the top. It is important not to pour wax of any kind down the drain, so strain the water to get rid of any small wax bits. If there is any wax remaining, scrape it out.

  5. The wick holder at the bottom of the candle is just a sticker and should come off with the hot water, but if it does not you can simply peel it off the bottom of the container.

  6. Wash out the container with soap and water.
