OUR STORY

Sweetface Candles & Co is a small, family-owned business that has been making soy candles since 2019. We founded our business to create a solution to a problem many candle lovers have: scent throw. Amongst our research, we found that most candles found in stores are made from paraffin wax, which is made from petroleum oil. In order for the scent to bond to paraffin wax, it needs a chemical called phthalate. This can cause harmful toxins to be released in the air in your home while burning these candles!
We knew we had to create a product that would last longer AND make candle lovers happier.
Our candles are made with 100% soy wax. Soy wax burns at a lower melting point which allows the wax to make a larger melt pool. This not only helps your candle to last longer, but also helps release more fragrance into the air for longer! Our scents are free from phthalates and our wicks are lead and zinc free. Soy wax contains nothing artificial or toxic, which makes it better for the environment and your health!
The last piece of our soy candles is the labels. We take pride in creating designs that are unique and stunning. We want you to be able to enjoy a wonderful candle as well as a piece of art to show in your home.
